For9a Came to mangafruit with a working blog. With around 50 Thousand users checking the website to get scholarships, funding and sponsorships to study abroad or attend events or seminars. The amount of hits the website had made it very slow and impractical to use.

mangafruit suggesting that we increase user engagement with For9a Portal through “privileges” to users logged in. No user can see how to apply to opportunities unless they are logged in and had an account. Customised views where made to all users with a focus on the user’s own data to filter him only the opportunities that they could apply thus decreasing the spamming they got.

For9a was also an upgrade for all NGOs and granting organisations where they could now upload their own opportunities and check out candidates and a filter to whom applied to which opportunity.

The portal is available on Mobile also through it’s natively built apps on Google Play and App Store. It’s also available in three languages: English, French and arabic.

For9a now has more than 300 Thousand users with more than 80 Thousand daily visits and has won several international prizes as best NGO in the Middle East from Bahrain, EU and USA.
