KACST Scientific Calendar Mobile Application

Working towards a better future

KACST approached mangafruit, through previous clients, to develop their brand new mobile application. The application is dedicated towards people who are interested in scientific and cultural events from the the arab world, Saudi Arabia and KACST.

mangafruit added a social aspect to the calendar and the users now can interact with each other and register their interest on the event. The calendar took information from several trusted websites and displayed it in their own theme within the application. An easy to use CMS was added to the app to manage the users and events that where entered.

About the Client

King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) is an independent scientific organization administratively reporting to the Prime Minister. KACST is both the Saudi Arabian national science agency and its national laboratories. The science agency function involves science and technology policy making, data collection, funding of external research, and services such as the patent office. KACST has currently over 2500 employees.
